1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using any website or mobile application operated by The Mate Platform (including ManageMate, MineMate, FlightMate, BuildMate, HaulMate, FlexiMate, and ApprenticeMate), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and applicable Australian laws.

2. Subscription Management & Billing

• All app subscriptions within the ecosystem are managed centrally via The Mate Platform.
• Prices are listed and charged in Australian Dollars (AUD) inclusive of GST where applicable.
• Subscriptions recur on a monthly or annual basis depending on your selected plan. You may modify or cancel your subscription at any time.

3. Regulatory & Statutory Compliance Disclaimer

While our software includes automated compliance helper features (such as CAO 48.1 FDP calculators, NHVR EWD tracking, and WHS Act 2011 SWMS templates), the ultimate legal responsibility for operational compliance remains with the individual license holder, pilot, heavy vehicle driver, or employer operating under Australian law.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to maintain the confidentiality of your platform credentials, ensure the accuracy of entered logbook data, and use the platform strictly in accordance with applicable industry regulations.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Australian Consumer Law, The Mate Platform shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from operational downtime or data input errors.

6. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Western Australia, Australia, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Western Australia.
